I did a little research online and this restaurant was listed as one of the best in the Augusta area and I can see why. The atmosphere was welcoming and unique, and the service and food were top-tier. The owner and sommelier spent time with us and was so thoughtful and informative as to their history! Highly recommend!
If you want the experience of a French or Italian cafe come here for breakfast or lunch. Staff are polite, friendly and very laid-back, and there's no pressure to eat and leave. The outdoor covered patio is the best patio in Augusta, complete with a fountain and a polite gentleman dog as a bonus. This morning I had a chicken biscuit which had a surprising spicy warmth that I enjoyed but perhaps not everyone. They have excellent coffee and even a non-snobby wine club you can join if you want better wines in your life. This is the perfect place to take a friend, a business colleague, or a date, especially if the weather is good enough to eat on the marvelous patio.
Bodega Última is an absolute gem in Augusta! The food is fresh, creative, and full of flavor—every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, whether you’re inside enjoying the cozy vibe or outside on the pet-friendly patio. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Such a quaint and inviting restaurant. It’s quickly become one of my favorites. Great menu/beer selections, excellent food and service with friendly staff and owner. Bodega Ultima is dog-friendly and has a nice outdoor patio and courtyard. My only complaint is that they close too early. :)
Very relaxing and classy atmosphere. My server was very kind and suggested a cranberry pineapple mimosa. It was exactly what I was craving! I got a salmon blt and the bacon was perfectly crispy and balanced with the other flavors of the cream cheese and salmon and lettuce. The croissant was toasted to light and crispy. This restaurant is good for a brunch with friends or a casual date. I did notice the extensive wine selection inside and will be coming back for a date with my husband.
We decided to try a new place for breakfast/brunch. The bar is beautiful, with an extensive selection of liquors and wines. We debated sitting there, but it was such a pretty day, so we chose outdoor seating. This is a pet friendly place, so several people were able to bring their dogs. The owner (Cary) has his beautiful, friendly, and well behaved terrier, ASH, who welcomes and greets everyone. The service was prompt and attentive. I ordered the Salmon BLT Bagel with an egg, lox, bacon, tomato, cream cheese, and avocado - DELICIOUS! My friend ordered the Jamon Croissant, which had egg, ham, and provolone. She also ordered a side of cheese grits, which was a generous portion - enough for two. With the exception of a few bites shared with Ash, she enjoyed hers! We can't wait to go back and suggest you give it a try!
I loved all of the decor and the staff was all smiling and friendly! I ordered the apple french toast and it was amazing! First time I’ve tried Brussels sprouts and it did not disappoint! My Gf had the chicken sandwich and I loved the “papas” potatoes that came with it. Would love to go back
We were greeted right away (as we walked in with our dog) by the owner who said have a seat anywhere. Always nice to feel welcome! We never like to make others uncomfortable when dining with our pup so we usually look to sit outside and we took a seat on the patio anyway but you can tell right away this is a comfortable place to bring your dog (since the restaurant has an in house dog named Ash who happily comes to greet you as well). Ash is a sweet big dog (Airesdale Terrier perhaps?) who got along swimmingly with our 10 lb Chihuahua. They made fast friends. The service was warm and quick. We had a carafe of delicious pineapple mimosas and actually both decided to get the Cuban sandwich so I can't speak to much else but that was great. My wife had a side salad and we shared my papas (their version of wedge fries...salty and big and come with some decent dipping sauce). Everything gets a big thumbs up here and the patio in the shade with a beautiful fountain was just a great spot to enjoy a late lunch. We'll be back on future trips to Augusta!
I recommend going here for food! Some of the best eating in Augusta. Thats all I need to say.
